Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
You can use your normal online payment to pay for this course wherever you are! The price is set in £ and the conversion rate to $ or other currencies depends on your card provider.
Basically, we make a quilt together over 6 months. Starting in Junuary 2023, we will make a different block pattern each month and then by the end of the 6 months you will have learnt some new skills and tips, made new friends and have a gorgeous quilt as well!
Once you have paid, and so that you can access the course, you will need to set up a log in for the course portal.
Yes. If you join up after 1st January 2023 all the blocks that have already been released will be waiting for you.
After purchasing the course, you will be invited to create an account and your own password. These are then your unique log in details which you can use to gain access to any of the courses I offer.
If you have already purchased a BOM or course from me you can use the same log in details as before.
'Keeping up' is great and will help you to stay engaged with the BOM and other quilters. But, life happens and sometimes things get in the way of sewing time and that is totally ok too. The blocks, patterns and videos are all yours to use however and whenever you wish. If you need to take a break for a month, that is fine, you can pick up where you left off whenever you are ready.
No. There is no fabric included in this BOM, you will need to purchase your own fabric.
Well, you will definitely need a sewing machine and some thread. On top of that you will need a cutting mat, rotary cutter and quilting ruler. You will also need access to a printer, so that you can print off the Drunkards Path templates for some of the blocks. (A seam ripper sometimes comes in handy too.)
The live Q&A calls will take place at 1pm (London, UK) on 20th of the Month, or closest working day to it.
Calls will be recorded and added to the course content afterwards. The calls are recorded, so if you are unable to attend the call you can watch it back later at your own pace.
Lets do it!
